Now you can make your own copycat look. Personally, I think the apple necklace is very nice and I like the wooden heel. I certainly will were them all summer, if I’ve got such heels. The dress with fruit print, inspired on Stella McCartney's dresses, are a big hit this summer so they are worth buying, they are very cheerful and a bit back to the fifties.

These perfume advertisements are all different, the ones who appeal most to me are the adverts form J'adore Dior, Prada Candy and Versace Bright Crystal.

Why do they grab my attention?

The ad from Dior and Versace is very powerful and has a strong appearance. The Prada advertisement has something that makes me look at it. I think it is the composition of the picture and both Dior and Prada have a rather interesting vial.

Persuasion list: moments you want to forget

1. On "Black Saturday" you had planned a flight to a tropical resort, you overslept and because of the huge crowds at the airport you missed plane. And you know that you have to listen for many, many birthdays to it.
2. Your friend who had his first gray hair, and to hide them in a spontaneous mood he decides to dye his hair black and goes to live as a gothic.
3. your favorite little black dress got lost on vacation (probably you made a Spanish cleaning lady very happy with it.)
4. At a concert from The Black Eyed Peas you dance like crazy. So you will lose your friends and your phone. Then spend the rest of the night on a beer after an hour waiting by the car in the pouring rain.
5. Already know that on Santa Clouse evening there won’t be waiting a new Prada bag, but the bag of blame.
6. You went to the après-ski in your beautiful new white Gucci ski pants within seconds under the gunk is beer / jägermeister / cigarettes.
7. That the slobbering black Lab from your parents sniffs a bit too enthusiastic when you saw him for the first time.
8. On the very first movie premiere of your life, when your slide on the red carpet, while your sexy hold-up stocks underneath your black cocktail dress are coming down to your ankle.

Mark Leibowits Backstage

This sumptuous backstage photography beats all standard and expectations of what we know as backstage documentation. All in a single shot using long exposures, photographer Mark Leibowitz captures the full essence and colors of John Galliano’s latest fashion show. Beautifully composed and full of movements, they almost look like paintings! I’m in Love!!

I hope you did enjoy it, I find it a realy innovative way of photography. And because I'm very intrested in photography I do find it extra intresting and special.

Beautytrends (part 5)

Eyelashes

What eyelashes regards: avoid thick coats of mascara and get a natural look. Cobwebs are so last season.

Tip: Use vibrating mascara for a clean effect

But you also can easily get a natural look without using a vibrating mascara, but be sure that your mascara is more liquid than solid, this prevents your eyelashes to stick to clumps of mascara.

How do you get such beautiful eyelashes?

It is not that difficult if you do it on a proper way. You just need to ensure that you have mascara that suits you. That is almost always Volume mascara. Actually, you have three types of eyelashes (short  and straight, long and curly and normal). You should take a swab, and it is also useful if you have an eyelash curler.

How do you do it?

1. Make sure that there isn’t any make-up around your eyes.

2. Bend your eyelashes up whit the eyelash curler, do this twice, and hold it for 30 seconds.

3. Put a tiny bit of day cream on your eyelid and your eyelashes, then will the mascara stick better.

4. You can put now the first layer of mascara on. Pick up the brush and wipe thoroughly. Apply one coat of mascara, to your top and bottom lashes. Make sure you touch all layers, because you must ensure that the thickness is similar. When you have done this, wait two minutes.

5. You can put now the second layer on your lashes. Make sure there is less mascara on the brush. And do the same as you did before. Let it dry.

6. And at least, make a cotton swab wet to take the mascara that came on your skin away.

Today I have got a photo shoot from the glamour published in 2007, so it isn't the newest photo shoot, but I found it still up to date enough when you look at het pictures. Tweet is totally back! Especially for vintage coats. I think that the last picture in row is very lovely. The way the picture is taken is powerful and leads your eyes to the model in the centre.

The flared sleeves from the A-lilne jacket are gorgous. The jacket has a great shape it is classic and unlike all the other coats.

The make-up look used in the shoot is a bit heavy for a normal day, but can be great for a dramatic look. Experiment

Droog is a brand that makes conceptual design in collaboration with independant designers. There is a flagship store in Amsterdam. I love to have one of those sticky lamps they look very usefull to me! You can stick those on your wall in any possible way. I think that the Window drops are also realy cool. They have something for fashionista's too, a clothes hanger lamp. It is a hanger with a light attached to it, so you can hang your own piece of clothing over it.

I also found something that I've always wanted to have since my parents read fairy tales to me. Maybe it is something that every child wants to have in their room.
It is a Swing with plants! You can let the plant grow and the ropes of the swing will be overgrown by it.

really something to do for a DIY (when I have got some more time).

The big version would be great to make, but I don't think I've got time to make that (if I could do it at all), and when I would do my parents wouldn’t be too happy whit it.
